- Me: What do you mean?
- Mom: What about these?
- Me: What do you mean?
- Mom: You don't wear these, throw them out.
- Me: Why would I throw those out? I'm not throwing out any shoes.
- Mom: -holds up another pair-
- Me: I'm not throwing out any shoes. Why are you holding those? I'm not throwing out any shoes.
- Mom: You have to throw some things out, there isn't enough room in your closet.
- Me: We're not throwing any shoes out today. Let's move on.
